In an interview of his, Ivelin Mihaylov talks about the institutional pressure exerted on him and the companies connected with "Historical Park", accusing the state and the mafia of deliberately destroying the business.
Mafia Structures and Institutional Pressure
Ivelin Mihaylov claims that the state and mafia structures are deliberately destroying private business in Bulgaria. According to the speaker, this drives young people abroad and creates a massive corruption environment where disobedience leads to being crushed by the authorities.
He shares that for seven years now, enormous pressure has been exerted on him by the oligarchy, in the face of figures like Ivo Prokopiev, Boyko Borisov, and Delyan Peevski. Mihaylov points out that they control the court and the prosecutor's office, making it impossible to find an institution to lodge a complaint with.
Resistance Against Secret Agreements
The speaker explains that he categorically refuses any secret financing agreements in exchange for political obedience. The reason for the continuous attacks, according to him, is the fact that the organization led by him is the only one that can realistically protect the people. The authorities are afraid of their capacity to quickly mobilize discontented citizens and trigger mass protests.
Attacks Against "Historical Park"
Regarding "Historical Park", Mihaylov explicitly emphasizes that he has never announced the project as closed and clarifies that he is only a small shareholder with a 2% stake. He explains that the project is managed by a CEO and a board of directors, which is why he himself is not authorized to make statements about its closure.
The speaker levels serious accusations against the National Revenue Agency, the police, and the prosecutor's office for coordinated and illegal actions. According to him, these institutions have stripped the bondholders in the company of their financial rights, turning their financial instrument into a profit for the state without explanation. Mihaylov emphasizes that even independent experts have confirmed before the court that such actions are impossible in European practice.
The Role of Leasing Companies
To illustrate the repressions, Mihaylov describes specific mechanisms used to exert economic pressure:
- Seizure of vehicles and equipment from companies (transport, security, and landscaping) that service the operations of "Historical Park".
- Calls and manipulated reports to financial institutions made by a local farmer.
- Use of administrative obstacles during the transfer of residual values on leases to repossess equipment just before events important to the organization.
According to the speaker, leasing companies act under the dictation of the ruling institutions because they fear regulatory fines and the revocation of preferences.
Clashes with Criminal Elements
Mihaylov provides details about the local farmer in question, with whom he has been in conflict since 2020, and describes him as an individual with a criminal record.
| Accusation Against the Farmer | Description according to the speaker |
|---|---|
| Theft of equipment | The farmer secretly hotwires and steals a leased machine, which subsequently sits in his yard. |
| Driving under the influence of drugs | Witnesses confirm that he operates a vehicle four hours after consuming 5 grams of cocaine. |
| Racketeering | Hiring Varna thugs to exert physical pressure and extortion. |
| Ecological violations | Creating an illegal landfill. |
Despite the filed reports regarding all these crimes, the police and the media consciously ignore them. Meanwhile, these very same institutions illegally confiscated Mihaylov's personal weapon. To prove the tendentiousness, he suggests checking the records, which will show an unusually high number of audits for all companies connected to "Historical Park".
Personal Life and Future Political Moves
When asked about his personal income after the divorce, Mihaylov reveals that at the moment rich women support him, who liked him during his work in the National Assembly.
He warns that the continuous lack of justice and change in the state will inevitably lead to new social upheavals. In response to the institutional crisis, his organization declares its readiness to nominate its own presidential candidate at the next elections to bring justice back to the country.
