Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев) speaks with Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов) about the scandalous conduct of Radostin Vasilev (Радостин Василев) during the consultations with Vice President Iliana Iotova (вицепрезидент Илияна Йотова), revelations about alleged bribes amounting to hundreds of millions of euros, and the claim that life in Bulgaria (България) has turned into a “crime blotter” under mafia rule.
Below is the full and detailed transcript of the conversation between Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев) and Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов), based on the provided transcript. The text has been edited grammatically and punctuated for better readability, while preserving all stories, examples, and the participants’ distinctive manner of speaking.
Introduction: The scandal at the Presidency (президентството)
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “Hello, dear viewers of Discussion Forum (Дискусионен форум). Hello, friends on YouTube and of Discussion Forum (Дискусионен форум) on Patreon. Late this afternoon, Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in the studio is Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов). We are speaking with him about what happened today at the Presidency (президентството), where Iliana Iotova (Илияна Йотова) held final consultations with APS (АПС), then with the MECH party (political party „МЕЧ“), and then with Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов).
Incidentally, Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов) is in the studio, but what happened today at the Presidency (президентството) was a real show. Whether it was a plus or a minus is for you to say. I turn immediately to Mr. Mihaylov (г-н Михайлов), leader of the Velichie party (political party „Величие“), to tell us what happened, even though we saw today what took place during his conversation with Iliana Iotova (Илияна Йотова). We also saw what happened during the MECH party’s (политическа партия „МЕЧ“) conversation with Iliana Iotova (Илияна Йотова). Welcome to our studio. Let us begin right away with what happened today at the Presidency (президентството). Of course, we will also talk about what awaits us in the election campaign, as Iliana Iotova (Илияна Йотова) informed us today that within days—by the end of the week—she will announce the name of the caretaker prime minister (служебен министър-председател). What happened today at the Presidency (президентството), Mr. Mihaylov?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов): “Today something happened that once again shows us what the political reality in Bulgaria (България) is. First, when we arrived, Ms. Iotova (г-жа Йотова) was still in shock. And I will say why—because in politics there is behavior that is acceptable and behavior that, for someone who claims certain positions and ambitions for the future, cannot be allowed. We can see this in major international politics—the manner of conduct. When someone goes too far in their demonstrativeness and provocation, they are, so to speak, pushed aside or ‘canceled’ (кенсъл)—a modern word—and erased from the possibility of other leaders communicating with them.
What happened was this: Radostin Vasilev (Радостин Василев) behaved immorally. He entered the Presidency (президентството) and acted like a hooligan, not like a politician. Because what all viewers need to know is that politics is about doing what is possible, not what is ideal. You never have the ideal in politics, and you must strive for what is possible—what must be done for the benefit of the people.
Entering the meeting with Ms. Iotova (г-жа Йотова), he insulted her directly. And it reminded me of the conduct of a hooligan or a person of very low intelligence at the market who starts shouting. Intelligent people, because they cannot… This is not communication—these are screams, this is scandal. And a normal, cultured person steps back because they cannot enter such a situation; their inner sense does not allow it. He went in, started shouting, insulted her, and left rudely, without even giving her the chance to speak. And Ms. Iotova (г-жа Йотова) did not know what to do, because she had not found herself in such a situation.
But this is everyday life in the National Assembly (Народното събрание). Radostin Vasilev (Радостин Василев) and other leaders… You know, years ago it was like that with Volen Siderov (Волен Сидеров), and later with the NFSB party (political party НФСБ) and Valeri Simeonov (Валери Симеонов). They created these scandals. There is always someone on duty who is supposed to create scandals.”
The role of Boyko Borissov (Бойко Борисов) and the “louts” in politics
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов): “Why does this happen? Ever since Boyko Borissov (Бойко Борисов) entered politics… since his level of intellect is not very high—he is cunning and sly, but in no way can we call him intelligent and cultured. And in order for him to appear normal, he tries to surround himself with louts, so that based on their behavior he appears normal. This is also the atmosphere in the National Assembly (Народното събрание): hooligans, people with no ethics and morals, who have no problem being scandal-mongers—whether because they use narcotic substances or because of some other peculiarity of character, it does not matter—but these people are paid to behave this way so that every other type of behavior looks normal.
Now, this… First, Radostin Vasilev (Радостин Василев) is described as a patriotic party, which has nothing to do with patriotism. In your studio I now see the portrait of Levski (Левски). Anyone who loves their homeland would make it their mission not to disgrace the image of Levski (Левски)—to be the most cultured, the most intelligent, the most knowledgeable, the most capable, to be an example for their country. A patriot is never a hooligan. A patriot, or a lover of the homeland, is the person who always seeks to glorify their homeland through their actions, not through their vulgarity. We cannot say that Bay Ganyo (Бай Ганьо) was a lover of the homeland. We see the image of Bay Ganyo (Бай Ганьо) now—the current image of Bay Ganyo (Бай Ганьо).
First, this is how the patriotic front is destroyed. Why? Kostadinov (Костадинов) and Radostin Vasilev (Радостин Василев) are people who take such extreme positions. And in this way, patriotism becomes associated precisely with this drive for showmanship, through which these people give false hopes. They voice unrealistic expectations and everyone else says: ‘Yes, look at this person—he says things that cannot be fulfilled.’ Consequently, they fall into a second category. The first category becomes those who can offer solutions, and that is where the GERB party (political party ГЕРБ) and the DPS party (political party ДПС), or the We Continue the Change party (political party „Продължаваме промяната“), the Yes, Bulgaria party (political party „Да, България“) end up as supposedly more “normal” parties (even though from time to time Yes, Bulgaria (политическа партия „Да, България“) behave the same way).
And, by the way, I want to say once again that Vazrazhdane (political party „Възраждане“) and Yes, Bulgaria (political party „Да, България“) are the two wings of the Boyko Borissov (Бойко Борисов) center. He controls both. And when he needs to, he makes them quarrel and says: ‘See? Both the right-wingers and the nationalists are the patriots, right? Somehow these are people who cannot come to an agreement, and here I come. I must reach an agreement.’”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “Was he a messenger—Radostin Vasilev (Радостин Василев)—for Boyko Borissov (Бойко Борисов) and Delyan Peevski (Делян Пеевски)?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов): “Yes, a messenger for Borissov and Peevski.”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “Borissov and Peevski?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов): “Yes. Not for the Presidency (президентството). He was a messenger for Borissov and Peevski. And apparently he has seen… What do the two gain from that behavior? Well, you know they are main competitors with former President Radev (бивш президент Радев), who has already stepped onto the political stage and probably—well, not probably, it is 100% certain—will launch his own project, since there are strong indications he will have significant electoral support. What Borissov and Peevski are trying to do is, in some way, to undermine his image by undermining his deputy—Ms. Iotova (г-жа Йотова).”
Rumors of a €300 million bribe
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов): “I had also heard that there was an offer—an shameless offer, we are talking about around 300 million—made to Iotova (Йотова), in order to choose…”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “Wait, wait… To Iotova (Йотова)? Let’s repeat that—to Iotova (Йотова), an offer?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов): “An offer. This is being discussed unofficially. You know that…”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “But €300 million? You don’t have the money for…”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михaylov): “No—million. Not 300 million… 300 million, yes. And I am being told this by people from within GERB (ГЕРБ). So that she can select a convenient prime minister for Borissov and Peevski.”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “Meaning someone from among the deputy chairs of the National Audit Office (Сметната палата)?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов): “Yes. Someone other than Gyurov (Гюров). Anyone else, other than Gyurov (Гюров), is a person who will serve the interests of Borissov and Peevski. You can see that at the very beginning, when Radev (Радев) stepped off the stage, there were many flattering articles about Iotova (Йотова) from PIK (ПИК) and media close to Borissov—how intelligent she is, how pretty she is, and so on. And today this was a demonstration that there is another side as well. When she chooses, she must know which side she will choose.”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “I would believe what you are saying if it were not for the amount—300 million. It sounds monstrous, it sounds fantastic, and it sounds a bit like ‘a woman at the market said so.’ But if you had said 3 million, I would tell you, I might have thought about it.”
Personal bribe offers to Mihaylov
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов): “All right… Now I’ll tell you: I personally have two offers of €100 million each.”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “Pardon? Two offers of €100 million each?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов): “And I have said it on air. Yes. The first was on June 10, 2024. The second was on October 28, 2025. You remember the halt in the vote count from 11:00 to 17:30, during which Velichie (Величие) was entering the National Assembly (Народното събрание). That was a period when they sent an envoy to me. The offer was: either €100 million (there were two options—either I withdraw from politics and let the group develop there in a way that supports Peevski and Borissov, or I enter and carry out their orders).
And the second: if I refuse, I will be ruined, I will be sent to prison. They said many ‘colorful’ things about what would happen to me. I even have an SMS—I showed it at the time on a program—from the intermediary, whom I asked, ‘How much?’, and he wrote, ‘€100 million.’
Now, since back then they were offering €100 million for a party whose behavior was unknown… and it was entering the National Assembly (Народното събрание) (or not entering, yes) and could serve the people’s interests—this offer has happened twice. Now think about what the stakes are today, to understand the sums that are being played with.”
The stakes: The caretaker government and the elections
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайlov): “Right now the stakes are this: a caretaker government (служебно правителство) can guarantee in advance the breaking up of a potential anti-corruption coalition. For example, if we enter with a good result, if Radev (Радев) has a good result, we can form some new front—if there is the will, of course—that is anti-corruption, to show how the state can develop without Borissov and Peevski.
And if a government is appointed similar to the previous caretaker governments (the last one was headed by Glavchev (Главчев), right?)… which served them 100%. The Constitutional Court (Конституционният съд) said that the government conducted elections in violation of the law. Now think: if the same elections happen now, a new majority that can remove Borissov and Peevski cannot be formed. Because if, for instance, Vazrazhdane (Възраждане) enters the National Assembly (Народното събрание), they serve Borissov and Peevski’s interests with their extreme position. We cannot unite with them. They split the vote, and if Borissov and Peevski manage—through their other offshoots—to gather enough MPs, that means something will happen similar to what happened with PP–DB (ПП-ДБ).
When PP (ПП) entered power, parties were quietly attached to them so they could form an alliance, and in the end… You even remember that at the beginning PP (ПП) had a more neutral policy regarding the war. They wanted a different policy, but they were quietly forced into a track that destroyed them 100%. Both ITN (ИТН) and PP (ПП) follow the same model. Every new party and every new movement—like us, Velichie (Величие) (they are also preparing various things for us)… But what they are trying to do is this: they need a caretaker prime minister (служебен министър-председател) so they can run the same manipulated elections as before in Pazardzhik (Пазарджик). You saw the arrogance of this governance. They are not shy about it. There is no European Union (Европейският съюз), no United States (Съединени щати), nothing. And we see, by the way, that international politics is beginning to operate in this way. These people are ready to pay €300 million. Again, I say, this is unconfirmed information from people close to GERB (ГЕРБ). Because at first I asked, ‘How much?’ since they said, ‘an indecent sum.’ I said, ‘€100 million?’ They said, ‘Much more,’ and then told me €300 million.”
On patriotism and the “Golden Finger”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “I listened to you very carefully. First, about the word ‘patriotism’—you mentioned the ‘Patriotic Front’ (Патриотичния фронт). You meant the concept of a patriotic front in general…”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов): “Yes—a patriotic front, parties that are… But patriotism died with the Patriotic Front (Патриотичния фронт) when they sold themselves to GERB (ГЕРБ). And I think it already died with Ataka (Атака).”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “Oh, you are absolutely right. The ‘Golden Finger’ (Златният пръст) of Volen Siderov (Волен Сидеров), May 2009.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов): “Look—good correction. It started with Volen Siderov (Волен Сидеров) and ended definitively, finally, terminally with the Patriotic Front (Патриотичния фронт), who did the same thing Volen did, after criticizing him beforehand.”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “Yes, I remember very well, because for better or worse I had boarded that ship, and I still can’t believe that the people who condemned Volen Siderov (Волен Сидеров) for GERB’s (ГЕРБ) golden finger did exactly the same thing four and a half years later.”
Why the people choose Borissov: An economy of subordination
Velizar Enchev (Велizар Енчев): “But what you said earlier about Boyko Borissov (Бойко Борисов)—that he is cunning and sly—I agree with you. But then how do people like him and elect him? Explain this phenomenon to me.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелin Михайлов): “They don’t like him and elect him… Now I’ll explain. First, we proved in the last elections (let’s go back to the last elections, which were in October 2025) that, based on video surveillance, in 50% of the commissions we proved a substitution of the election result. Fifty percent. Now add to that 50%… because we did not watch all of them, but the Constitutional Court (Конституционният съд) also said approximately 50%.”
Velizar Enchev (Велизar Енчев): “Yes, yes.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михайлов): “In addition, think about how many votes are bought in advance, how many people are intimidated in advance, how many are held with kompromat in advance. How many people—whose businesses depend… Because we should become a country with a market economy, in which business produces, and from that production and from business taxes we pay salaries and pensions, social spending, education, and healthcare. That is why the Constitution (Конституцията) states that a primary driver of the economy is free entrepreneurial initiative.
What I’m saying… I’ll give an example of what happened in Bulgaria (България) years ago. Living in Varna (Варна), what I saw was this: there were two chains developing in the food-service sector. One was Happy (Happy)—a new, weaker chain—and the other was Mustang Food (Mustang Food). Mustang Food (Mustang Food) grew according to non-market principles, while Happy (Happy) grew according to market principles. Today we see Happy (Happy) in, I believe, both England (Англия) and Spain (Испания), and it operates well. The other disappeared, even though initially it had more venues and better furnishing. But when you do not have good management, when you have more mafia-style management, you are not competitive in the market.
Right now every business in Bulgaria (България) is being strangled in one way or another. I can say that as a former entrepreneur. Every business is strangled, and they do not allow even ordinary businesses to grow. Today I had lunch near the National Assembly (Народното събрание); there is a small place—a little kiosk—with good food. People told me they have another place, where, because it was working well, the municipality wants to take it from them (in a smaller town where GERB (ГЕРБ) are in power). Or what happens is: when they see a good business, they take it. Or if they do not take it, they tell you: ‘You must be subordinate; you must vote for us.’
At a certain point we have a feudal dependency in which people do not vote out of conviction. Some are subordinate, some are civil servants, some are held with kompromat. For example, as you may notice, real crime is very rarely punished. People with pending cases are the power’s strike groups. They are kept ‘in the bank,’ so to speak—kept in play. Then they ‘click’ and send them to prison. Meanwhile these people remain outside and secure a circle of voters for them. Add election manipulation, add the growing arrogance. Add the emigration of a large part of Bulgarians from Bulgaria (България) (those who cannot endure it leave), and what remains is a smaller and more resigned part of the population.”
The political arithmetic of dependencies
Velizar Enchev (Велизar Енчев): “I see you have a notebook—let’s write down a few things to understand the process.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михайлов): “I’m starting. Let’s see. GERB (ГЕРБ) have 66 MPs at the moment. DPS–New Beginning (ДПС–Ново начало) has 29 MPs. Vazrazhdane (Възраждане) has 33 MPs. Yes, Bulgaria (Да, България) has 17 MPs (because they took two from PP (ПП)—Yavor Bozhankov (Явор Божанков) and Lorer (Лорер)). BSP (БСП) has 19 MPs. MECH (МЕЧ) has 11 MPs. APS (АПС) has 15 MPs, of whom 5–10 are 100% controlled by Peevski (Пеевски), compromised. And you can leave Velichie (Величие) and PP (ПП) aside—we’ll remove them, for example. I’ll explain why… Let’s assume we are not controlled by Borissov (Борисов), right? Let’s look only at the model of those who are controlled.”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “But I want to ask you—did ITN (ИТН) vote for Borissov (Борисов)?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михайлов): “ITN (ИТН)? Well, they are part of the coalition.”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “Did BSP (БСП) vote for Borissov (Борисов)?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михайлов): “Well, the answer is obvious.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михайлов): “MECH (МЕЧ)? What was MECH’s (МЕЧ) message when entering the National Assembly (Народното събрание)? Opposition, right? Burning down Boyko Borissov’s (Бойко Борисов) house—let’s not forget.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михайлов): “Vazrazhdane (Възраждане)? Removing the Western model and bringing another… which places Borissov (Борисов) inside the Western model, right? He is a servant of the Western model. So Vazrazhdane (Възраждане)—a hard, hard opposition, yes. Now what remains? DB (ДБ). What did DB (ДБ) say? A cordon—a sanitary cordon—around Peevski (Пеевски).”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “Both he and BSP (БСП) said there would be a cordon around Peevski (Пеевски).”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михайлов): “And now you are a person who, first—you were in intelligence services (разузнаването), and you have been in politics for many years. You have far more experience than I do. Can anyone doubt that Borissov (Борисов) and Peevski (Пеевски) are like Siamese twins for these people?”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “They are Siamese twins, yes.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михайлов): “So, look—this is a PR trick. Borissov (Борисов), in reality, for him… let’s assume that with all manipulations they voted 66 plus 29. Add four independents who are actually controlled by Delyan Peevski (Делян Пеевски), who also voted as a hard opposition. APS (АПС) also as hard opposition. In which case it is impossible for those 66 to come together with those 29… Because, you know, in the National Assembly (Народното събрание), with the math you are doing right now, you are confirming my thesis about poor-quality human material.”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “From what you’ve said so far, one becomes disgusted with politics. Velichie (Величие)—they portrayed us as a sect, a paramilitary organization, a pyramid scheme, and thousands of other things. There was a massive campaign. Who took over the campaign against us?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михайлов): “ITN (ИТН) and Vazrazhdane (Възраждане), yes—they formed a commission. What will people who are looking for an opposition think? We are unknown, and everyone talks about us like this in the media; the national channels broadcast it.”
The media, BNT, and the lack of trust
Velizar Enchev (Велizар Енчев): “But to your criticisms I would add one criticism of Iotova (Йотова) toward you today. She was quite right when she said you should not be so angry at the media, because… but she did not say the most important thing. She also worked at BNT (БНТ). If it had not been for Milena Kirova (Милена Кирова) from Bulgarian National Television (Българската национална телевизия), who found your missing votes (BNT (БНТ) found the missing ones for you—how many were they, 15–20 votes; she went into the precincts), the entire procedure for the Constitutional Court (Конституционния съд) would not have been set in motion. Thanks to that media outlet and that journalist, you entered parliament. So when you say you are dissatisfied with the media, Iliana (Илияна) told you half the truth but did not finish it. BNT (БНТ) delivered that blow for you.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михайлов): “No, what I want to say here is that my thesis was in relation to the people. Because when I started making my statement, I started with the breakdown of statehood. I am not looking at my personal interest here; I am looking at the people’s interest. Because the Petrokhan case (Петрохан) leads to the fact that we saw people do not trust the authorities. Regardless of what the outcome is, they do not trust the authorities, they do not trust the institutions, they do not trust the media. That is why, when the state breaks, you cannot simply glue it back together. Trust is very hard to earn and very easy to break.”
Drugs, racketeering, and the lack of media coverage
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “First I want to tell you—how widespread is drug addiction in Bulgaria (България)? Up to 80% of children. Is there a hypothetical possibility—hypothetical, we’re speaking hypothetically—that Radostin Vasilev (Радостин Василев) uses substances? Because it is clear that often his behavior does not correspond to that of a normal person. Now think: it’s not only him. In politics, a large part of people use substances. There is a vlogger who is very popular among my generation—Lyubomir Zhechev (Любомир Жечев). I asked him: ‘Mr. Zhechev (г-н Жечев), is it true that your driver’s license was taken away for marijuana use?’ ‘Yes.’ ‘And have you used cocaine?’ ‘I have used that too.’ From his manner of speaking, I understand that this person uses many kinds of drugs. He is an idol to young people.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “Anyone with a work ethic is a ‘sucker’ (балък). Anyone who takes money without working is a ‘slick operator’ (тарикат). People in this society strive to be slick operators. There are no suckers. Anyone who studies is a sucker. Anyone like Boyko Borissov (Бойко Борисов)—who has read only ‘Winnetou’ (Винету)—is a slick operator.”
Velizar Enchev (Велизар Енчев): “A successful slick operator, I would add. A successful slick operator who not only wins elections but manages to mobilize the masses.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “Society has totally degraded. I go and make a statement in the National Assembly (Народното събрание) that people from CPC… Today I got confused at the Presidency (президентството)—‘Paradise,’ not ‘Paradise’… ‘Park Mall’ (Парк Мол) or the ‘City Center’ (Сити Центъра) near the Hemus Hotel (хотел „Хемус“). On level -2, two people from CONPI (КОНПИ) held a series of meetings with me and threatened me that if I do not vote for Peevski (Пеевски) and Borissov (Борисов)…”
Velizar Enchev (Велизar Енчев): “Yes, you have already said that.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “I said it, but we have no reaction either from SANS (ДАНС) or from the media. Shouldn’t that…?”
Velizar Enchev (Велizар Енчев): “You are right about the media here. The media barely covered it.”
Economic breakdown and the “Second League”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “Now think—what kind of economy can there be on the battlefield in Ukraine (Украйна)? Where does Ukraine’s (Украйна) money come from right now? From the European Union (Европейския съюз). And us—if we are at war—where will our money come from? From taxes. And production, to the extent it exists… In a war, when there is no production and no taxes, where will it come from?”
Velizar Enchev (Велizар Енчев): “Well, wait—the government took a new loan last night—150 million. For how long?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “I can tell you—at most two or three years. Why? Some people compare us to Greece (Гърция). Yes, Greece (Гърция) has a huge fleet that brings incredible revenue. They have 35 million tourists. They have production. Greece (Гърция) has an economy that is incomparable to Bulgaria’s (България) economy.”
Velizar Enchev (Велизar Енчев): “And at the European level it already turns out that Brussels (Брюксел) is preparing, first, to place us into a ‘Second League’ (Втора лига). That is, there will be a second circle around the core… We will be in the second league. And second, the right of veto is set to be removed… And when you add the two facts—the mafia-ized state with the crime blotter, and what the European Union (Европейския съюз) is preparing for us—it looks to me like the state is not only doomed… it looks like we are a country living out its remaining time.”
Belene NPP and geopolitics
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “We are firmly in favor of developing the Belene Nuclear Power Plant (АЕЦ „Белене“), which would create an economic boom. That is the most important cause. And there we are not talking about pro-Russian or pro-Bulgarian policy. We spoke with French companies that are ready to take the Russian reactors, implement French automation, and provide a loan under which the plant would remain with NATO (НАТО).
What we would say to Donald Trump (Доналд Тръмп) (because we should learn to work like him—he is an entrepreneur) is: we want, alongside the two Russian reactors, to build two modular reactors. This time we will take a loan to build (since the infrastructure is already in place) the two reactors we have, plus two small modular reactors. And we will export the resulting energy to Ukraine (Украйна), which must be rebuilt.”
Velizar Enchev (Велizар Енчев): “You are already speaking like a system politician. Like those politicians who say: ‘We will give this to America, we will give this to Russia, so that we can have peace over our heads.’”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “I’ll tell you this… I used to deal with big business. In big business I have to use suppliers, because I cannot produce everything myself. I try to distribute suppliers—for example, for timber—among three different factions, so that I am not at war with any of them. I try to keep the price roughly the same. At this point I have not seen a single proposal—neither from the American side, nor from the European side, nor from the Russian side—for how we can have prosperity.”
Final: Civic protection of the vote
Velizar Enchev (Велizар Енчев): “And now, at the end of the conversation, I ask: Will you be able to find thousands of proxies and observers to do what was done in Pazardzhik (Пазарджик)?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “First, I want to tell you—look at how the media attribute this to PP (ПП), when in fact we did it.”
Velizar Enchev (Велizар Енчев): “Exactly. But everyone unanimously, including those in power, attributes it to PP–DB (ПП-ДБ).”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “But as of this moment we have secured 80% of the members of precinct election commissions (секционни избирателни комисии). We have secured 50% of the people—the teams that will go to defend the elections. And that is why they now want to strike the organized civic resistance.”
Velizar Enchev (Велizар Енчев): “When did you find these people?”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “We started in December. Observers are people who want to get involved because they are being repressed. You know, back in the day… Think of it this way: each of them has paid a ‘blood tax’ (кръвен данък) to Borissov (Борисов) and Peevski (Пеевски).”
Velizar Enchev (Велizар Енчев): “The avengers are the most motivated.”
Ivelin Mihaylov (Иvelin Михaylov): “The most motivated, yes. They have a personal motive.”
Velizar Enchev (Велizar Енчев): “Thank you for your visit and your comment. Clearly, we will be seeing each other again.”
