The creator Ivelin Mihailov categorically refutes the circulated fake news about the closure of "Historical Park", revealing the plans for the business transformation of the site and shedding light on the organized institutional pressure.
Coordinated Media Attack and Manipulation of Facts
The leading media outlets in the country are creating a large-scale campaign, announcing in complete unison the upcoming closure of the cultural and historical complex. Ivelin Mihailov explains that this attack unites publications from different political and economic circles that very rarely act together. Journalists intentionally manipulate the audience by taking a philosophical statement from the entrepreneur's personal profile out of context.
In his publication, the speaker shares his disappointment that the initial ideal purpose of the park has not received sufficient public interest. Despite organizing world-class events, Bulgarians have not massively supported the idea of restoring national identity and educating children. The entrepreneur emphasizes the absurdity of media claims about a unilateral closure, since he is no longer the executive director and owns only 2% of the shares.
Revelations About Illegal Schemes and Media Silence
The creator of the park connects the massive media attack with the revelations he made about the illegal construction project "Baba Alino" near Varna. According to Mihailov, the newspaper "Capital" and figures such as Ivo Prokopiev are behind an organized scheme to deceive investors. The publication actively promotes entrepreneur Oleg Nevzorov as a major builder, while in reality concealing the illegal status of the houses under construction.
Mihailov expresses strong outrage that not a single national media outlet has covered these serious revelations about financial abuses. Journalists readily spread the lie about the bankruptcy of a genuinely operating site, but remain completely silent about the criminal schemes. Similar media silence is observed regarding the allocation of infrastructure funds, with the speaker giving the example of 128 million euros from the Recovery Plan that go to certain business circles.
Transformation of the Complex and New Business Strategy
Due to the lack of support for patriotic initiatives, the management of the complex is changing its focus toward entirely commercial activity. The owners plan to rent out the site for large corporate events and team-building activities of international companies. During periods of these high-budget private events, the park will close for mass visits for 3 to 7 days.
Children's camps continue to operate as a separate private initiative in order to preserve the original idea of educating younger generations. The complete transition to the new business model will take some time and requires additional efforts. The team must first complete the construction of guest houses and the hotel section in order to meet the needs of corporate clients and ensure returns for investors.
Institutional Pressure and Organized Criminal Group
The entrepreneur strongly criticizes the institutions for applying blatant double standards toward businesses. He files a report with the prosecution against an organized criminal group that is attempting to blackmail him. Mihailov makes an important clarification and identifies the specific participants in this structure:
- Representatives of the publication "Capital"
- A local farmer
- Member of Parliament Georgi Andreev
- Representative of the Varna criminal underworld
Despite the evidence provided, the state prosecution questions only 4 people over the course of 1 month and refuses to initiate pre-trial proceedings. As a striking contrast, Mihailov recalls that after a complaint against the park itself, the prosecution questioned more than 4,000 people within 2 years and 6 months.
| Examples of Institutional Double Standards | Actions of State Authorities |
|---|---|
| Construction of 4 decares of illegal areas and theft of a bomb shelter by a Syrian citizen | The person receives 212 government contracts without consequences |
| Waving a children's toy by an influencer on social media | Immediate arrest and detention for a period of 6 days |
| Development of a legal tourist complex using private funds | Constant inspections and unlawful seizure of construction equipment |
Confrontation with Crime and Seized Equipment
While the municipal administration in Vetrino supports the business, the state authorities and criminal structures from Varna create constant obstacles. Opponents spread false claims about a lack of documentation, despite the fact that the site has 286 construction permits and 16 legal buildings put into operation. Mihailov also categorically refutes claims by politicians that his wife appropriated 1,164 properties, stating that the actual number is zero.
The entrepreneur reveals details about the past of the local farmer who is destroying nature in the area. Before the construction of the park, this person maintained illegal dumps and stole fertile black soil from people's lands to sell it in the city. At that time, marijuana factories and stolen car warehouses operated in the area. The farmer drove for 4 hours under the influence of drugs, but the police refused to arrest him. As a result of the reports filed against these activities, the state retaliated against investors by unlawfully confiscating the park's company trucks and equipment.
Political Ambitions and Contrast with State Governance
Due to the continuing lawlessness in the country, Ivelin Mihailov announces his intention to run for president in the upcoming autumn elections. The political class is panicked by independent people who achieve large-scale results without state funding and show an alternative to destruction. To illustrate this decline, the speaker gives the example of the high-tech "Tist" building in Gorna Oryahovitsa, which criminal groups completely looted during the transition years.
The entrepreneur makes a striking comparison between the effectiveness of private initiative and state construction. Building 1 kilometer of a state highway costs 50 million euros, while on the territory of the park the team has built 10 kilometers of paved roads. Those in power are trying to destroy the project because it clearly demonstrates their enormous corruption and inefficiency.
The Anniversary Success and Vision for the Future
Despite the negative campaign, the celebration of the seventh anniversary attracts enormous interest from visitors from Bulgaria, Spain, Norway, and France. Guests express strong admiration for the created beauty, the cleanliness of the territory, and the high culture of those present. The creators sent 500 messages to media outlets to cover the event, but only three marginal television channels responded to the invitation.
At the moment, the project needs a subsidy of 500 euros per week due to the constant attacks that obstruct normal operations. The team plans to attract foreign investors to complete the vision, as the state intentionally blocks the business at the local level. Ivelin Mihailov concludes with the firm conviction that the park's model is destined to succeed and will establish its high culture throughout Bulgaria.
