Tsveti views homeschooling not just as an alternative to traditional academic schooling, but as a complete way of life and continuous upbringing. The main goal of this endeavor is to build a good character and pass on eternal life principles in a carefully selected and protected environment. This process is not limited only to solving problems and formal lessons, but happens constantly from morning till night in various life situations. The mother takes full responsibility for building close relationships with her children and teaching them to distinguish good from evil, with this educational aspect being far more comprehensive than the assimilation of simple facts and formulas.
Conscious Transition, Planning, and Career Relinquishment
Initially, Tsveti was strongly opposed to the idea of homeschooling, as she was fully focused on her career development in the IT sector. The idea matured slowly over the years after reading specialized literature and talking with practicing families from Bulgaria and abroad. She categorically advises parents not to rush into emotional decisions, but to use their maternity leave for reflection and serious financial planning. Ultimately, she came to the firm conviction that while she could easily be replaced at work, for her children she is absolutely irreplaceable.
Unity in the Family and the Role of the Father
The success of homeschooling requires exceptional unity and full agreement between spouses regarding values and upbringing. In her family, the father plays a key role in the wholesome development of the children through his personal example and active participation in various educational activities.
The main ways in which the father gets involved in the process include:
- Organizing joint projects, walks, and cycling in the park.
- Encouraging interest in literature through co-writing stories and discussing voluminous books from an early age.
- Taking charge of math and computer science lessons.
Flexibility, Individual Approach, and Delegation
A major advantage of this educational model is the immense flexibility and the possibility for an individual approach according to the specific needs of each child. Parents are not obliged to strictly follow one textbook if it does not yield results, and they have the freedom to change both materials and methods. Tsveti emphasizes that mothers should not be perfectionists and try to teach everything themselves, but can successfully delegate tasks.

Stimulating Independence and Entrepreneurship
Learning at home helps children learn how to learn and think independently, building confidence that every problem encountered has its solution. This initiative is vividly demonstrated in a small summer business they created to sell lemonade on the street. Despite the mother's initial serious doubts about the location, the children showed enviable persistence, made promotional materials out of cardboard, and managed to attract customers. With the earned money, they completely independently financed a short family trip. Tsveti concludes that the parent's role is not to be a business expert, but simply to have eyes to notice the child's interests and support them adequately.
