Dear Mr. Chairman, dear fellow Members of Parliament, dear Ministers,
While reading the motives for the vote of no confidence, I repeatedly came across the phrase "captured state". I agree that this is the case. In the past, writers and poets immortalized political and social events, and one of them was Aleko Konstantinov. In 1895, he wrote his political essay "Bay Ganyo Holds Elections," which referred to the elections of the previous year.
Unfortunately, six years ago this work by Aleko Konstantinov was removed from the Bulgarian language and literature textbooks and is no longer studied in Bulgarian schools. And a wise man once said that if we do not learn the lessons of history, we are doomed to repeat them. And that is exactly what we are doing. Bay Ganyo holds elections, manipulates the vote, and governs. Bay Ganyo has simply captured the entire state and rules it as he pleases.
At the last referendum with the Bulgarian people, our volunteers shed light on all manipulations of the vote and showed that the voice of the Bulgarians had been completely manipulated. They demonstrated how elections are conducted under the leadership of Bay Ganyo. And that is why I intend to vote for the motion of no confidence in this government, because they were illegitimately elected through a manipulated vote and therefore do not enjoy the will and trust of the people.
We will support this vote, even though a large part of the opposition has repeatedly acted disrespectfully and tendentiously towards us, but we put the cause of Bulgaria first and believe that unity makes strength.
Thank you!
