Kiro Breika (Киро Брейка) presents to his audience the tireless activity of Ivelin Mihaylov (Ивелин Михайлов) across Bulgaria (България) and his personal self-sacrifice in defense of national dignity.
A challenge to journalists and influencers
Kiro Breika issues a direct challenge to all influencers and journalists from the national media. He proposes that they try to follow the pace of Mihaylov for just one week. Mihaylov travels between five and six thousand kilometers every week. National television networks bTV, Nova, and BNT will need several teams to withstand his physical workload. Journalists deliberately avoid covering these meetings. The system is trying to destroy his business, family, and personal contacts. At the same time, the media open their doors to anyone willing to attack the Velichie party (партия „Величие“). The system financially crushes all institutions around him, yet he continues his work.
Absence of party propaganda on national holidays
The host highlights the absence of party propaganda during the celebrations on March 3 at Historical Park (Исторически парк). There was not a single Velichie flag there. Mihaylov does not use the national holiday for political advertising or empty promises of “flowers and roses.” Other political forces such as Vazrazhdane (партия „Възраждане“) and MECH (партия МЕЧ) constantly wave their flags even in places such as Shipka (Шипка). Mihaylov chooses real actions instead of cheap propaganda. People should begin to think and compare the actions of politicians. Many people fail to recognize this difference in approach.
Extensive tours to protect the electoral vote
Mihaylov began his tour as early as December 22. His main goal is to prepare the protection of the upcoming elections. He claims that the state stole at least half of his votes in previous elections. Mihaylov visited Burgas (Бургас) on December 22 and Shumen (Шумен) on December 23. In January he traveled through Krichim (Кричим), Letnitsa (Летница), Karlovo (Карлово), Varna (Варна), and Balchik (Балчик). He even went to small settlements such as Pet Mogili (Пет могили) and Vrabnitsa (Връбница). Other opposition parties show no interest in protecting the vote. They remain in Sofia (София) and wait for the Ministry of Interior to do their work. In February his schedule included General Toshevo (Генерал Тошево), Kazanlak (Казанлък), Strelcha (Стрелча), Chirpan (Чирпан), and Novi Pazar (Нови пазар). He also visited Stara Zagora (Стара Загора), Sandanski (Сандански), Cyprus (Кипър), Dryanovo (Дряново), and Elhovo (Елхово). On February 20 he was simultaneously in Dimitrovgrad (Димитровград) and Harmanli (Харманли). After that he traveled to Hanover (Хановер), Frankfurt (Франкфурт), and returned to Veliki Preslav (Велики Преслав). Mihaylov is the only leader who goes directly to people in the most remote corners of the country. He supports protesters in Gurkovo (Гурково) and exposes crimes in Letnitsa between his meetings.
The donation gesture in Istanbul in 2020
In 2020 the state did not allocate a budget for celebrating March 3 at the Bulgarian consulate in Istanbul (Истанбул). The staff intended to request financial assistance from the Turkish state. Mihaylov learned about this embarrassment and immediately traveled to Turkey (Турция). He donated personal funds to preserve Bulgaria’s dignity. At that time he was simply an entrepreneur, not a politician. Kiro Breika compares this act with the behavior of Radostin Vassilev (Радостин Василев). Vassilev spent the national holiday in Dubai (Дубай), comfortably wearing slippers in the warm weather. Mihaylov placed the honor of the homeland above his personal comfort and safety. He traveled to Turkey at a time when the entire world feared the emerging COVID pandemic.
Personal sacrifice and lack of institutional support
The leader of Velichie drives his car himself. He travels without a driver and without security. He barely manages to gather money to refuel his vehicle. He often becomes the victim of traffic incidents due to extreme exhaustion. Mihaylov did not cancel a single meeting despite high fever, sinusitis, and other health problems. He completed the construction of the church and the residential building in the village of Neofit Rilski (Неофит Рилски) despite enormous financial pressure. Kiro Breika describes Mihaylov as a man who works day and night for the common good. He speaks with everyone, from the poorest to the most marginalized, and does not wear suits or ties outside parliament. The halls at his meetings are always overcrowded with people standing.
Media manipulation and sociological surveys
National television networks and sociologists give Mihaylov barely one percent support. Kiro Breika believes this is manipulation borrowed from Western models. These narratives aim to discourage people from voting for him. Other politicians such as Ivan Hristanov (Иван Христанов) appear only on TikTok and in television studios. They promise change but do not solve real problems faced by ordinary people, such as the case of Bay Riban (Бай Рибан). Mihaylov refuses to participate in vote-buying schemes. He seeks only an honest vote and direct mobilization of citizens. The people must stop believing the filth spread by certain journalists and drunken internet commentators.
